Happy Belated Birthday to Mommy! My oh my is she getting old, she turned 27 yesterday! But of course in our family we have a birthday week, so the celebration is far from over!
On Wednesday, I had my first sleepover without Mommy and Daddy at Grandma's house. Mommy and Daddy went down to the Indiana riverboat casinos that night with their friends Scott and Andy. They spent the night in Indiana and then the next day went to a Red's game in Cincinnati. Grandma and I have a good time at her house. She said that I went right to sleep for her and slept for a good 11 hours. I didn't even cry at all when it was time to go to sleep. Then on Thursday, we went over to Gammy and Gappy's house to spend some time with them and I got to see someone familiar when we were over there, Shelly! She spent the night there with them cause Grandma didn't want both of us for the night. Grandma told Mommy and Daddy that I was scooting around a lot that day on the floor. I was picking my butt up trying to crawl, which I've been doing for about a week, but I just don't get very far yet.
Then last night for Mommy's birthday dinner, we went to a Japanese restaurant. I got to eat some rice and drink some water like a big girl. This was not my first time eating Japanese food though. Last week, Grandma was driving through on her way up to Mentor (for her 30th class reunion) and Mommy, her and I went to get Japanese food. At that restaurant, Mommy let me eat avocados, rice, edamame, tofu, and ginger root. I loved it all.
This past week, I also tried pears for the first time and those were yummy. They taste and have the texture of apples which I love. I have also learning the loudness of my voice this week because Mommy has dubbed me the screecher monkey. I like for everyone to hear what I have to say and I have a lot to say. I've been saying mamama bababa and dadada all the time and that's how I wake Mommy and Daddy up in the morning.
One another new thing that I got to experience this week was my first Buckeye's home game. I watched the game with Daddy on Saturday while Mommy was at work. Yeah for a win, Go Bucks!
